Township District 214 revises information about ASVAB test.

Chicago, IL - September 15, 2008 – The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test is offered to District 214 students once during the school year; usually in November. Northwest Suburban Peace & Education Project began investigating the details related to the administration of the test after reading information forwarded by other peace and justice groups. We discovered that the test results for District 214 students are forwarded to the military although that is not clear in the information distributed by the high schools. In fact, in the Prospect Parent Newsletter from August/September of this year (page 18) the announcement makes no mention that test results are forwarded to the military.
